I was blown away by
this article. It's well written, suspenseful, heartbreaking, eye-opening ... everything one wants in investigative journalism. It has layers. It truly made me think.
The article asks the question, did Texas execute an innocent man?
The answer(s) will unsettle you.

Oh, Erin. When I saw that this article was 17 pages, I didn't think I would finish it. But it was so compelling.
I didn't want it to end the way it did. I didn't want to be crying at my computer at 6:30 in the morning.
It's so devastating. I hope that he is with his children.
It was such a good article --- some weeks the New Yorker is just ON. I was especially saddened that his ex-wife started believing he did it just before he died. The puddle patterns did sound so bogus!! It was shocking.
